For your convenience, the sign up process is done online. Simply visit the Registration page and fill out the form (please ensure all info is correct and detailed).

Once you’ve submitted the form, a confirmation page with the banking details will appear. Immediate payment will secure your spot as camps fill up very quickly.

Once you have received a registration confirmation email and you have made payment within the deadline, you are guaranteed acceptance into your chosen camp and will receive your ‘ABC’s of Camp’ email before the start of camp date. This email includes:

  • Exactly where to meet, what to wear, what to bring and some of the things that will happen during camp.

Expect to meet like-minded ladies who have similar goals as you. These ladies started for the same reasons, to get a little push to jump-start their fitness and wellness programme. Some exercise experience is needed to ensure your safety and a better flow of class.

That’s difficult to say since each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom as well as focus days to tone certain body parts. You can expect some short-distance running, weight training, obstacle courses, core training, circuits and jumping rope each week.

Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days and “visual improvement” can take between two and four weeks, depending on your level of effort. It’s common to see a camper go down 1-2 dress sizes within the first camp. Remember, everyone is different! We recommend that campers who are serious about transforming their bodies register for at least three consecutive camps and eat as clean as possible.

Although you will notice changes during your first camp, long term transformation occurs over a 6-12 week period. You may have noticed that most weight loss challenges are 12 weeks long – this is because you have to re-programme your body.

Firstly, it takes this period of time for your hormone levels and metabolism to adapt to the changes you are making and then to impact on your body composition and secondly, it ensures that you are developing good exercise and eating habits. As they say, it takes 4 weeks for you to notice a change, 8 weeks for your family to notice and 12 weeks for the world to notice!

Most people feel some stiffnessfor the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. It’s part of the process that lets you improve and an indication that you are getting a good workout!

You will need to bring a set of 1.5 – 3kg hand weights and an exercise mat. Thick, padded mats are better than thin mats and camping mats work quite well too. Some locations may use additional exercise equipment, but this will be provided for at camp.

You will also want to bring water to keep yourself hydrated. Optional items are a sweat towel and gloves and a hat in winter. Dress in a layered fashion… even if it is chilly, you will get warm very fast!

No, entrance fees to all our camp locations are included in the price of camp so you will never have to pay fees to enter the location.

All of our locations have indoor halls or undercover areas where we exercise in case of rain. Your ‘ABC’s of Camp’ will have all the details. Don’t forget: rainy days means boot camp is still on!

We suggest you attend Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays as we target different body parts on each day and this combo ensures the most even workout; plus this also gives your body a break in between sessions. However, you are free to choose the days that suit you best.

You can, with our Flexi Option offering. A Flexi Option allows you to attend any other location and / or time slot. It is not an extra session, it replaces one of your camp days. The only days on which you cannot use a Flexi Option (and therefore need to remain with the camp you have registered for) are the first and last days of camp.

Purchase your Flexi Options either when registering for camp, or at any time via the Camper Zone! 

Due to the nature of our fitness programme, we unfortunately cannot accommodate any children at our camps. As a camper, you only have one hour to get an effective workout and this time should also be seen as an opportunity for you to take time out and enjoy some well deserved ME TIME.

We will refund or transfer the amount you have paid in full if you notify us of your cancellation prior to the week before the start of camp. Should you cancel within the week before the start of camp, we will charge a R100 admin fee and the remaining amount will be transferred to another camp.

If you notify us two days before the start of camp, we regrettably cannot offer any refunds or prorates.

You will take part in an assessment to show your progress and success in the programme. Most campers return for a second or third camp and many choose ABC as their ongoing fitness programme.

As a safety precaution, we do not allow pregnant women to attend camp. However, should you find out that you are pregnant during camp, you are allowed to finish the four weeks you are on.
