With the new year around the corner, ABC is gearing up for something huge – something potentially life changing. It’s our 2020 Vision, and we want you to join the movement.
ABC’s 2020 Vision is a holistic approach to health, focusing on overall wellness, not just fitness. The workouts you do with us are a very important part of a healthy lifestyle, but there’s more to our wellbeing as women. Next year, we want to work on all of it.
In 2020, we’re setting the right goals.
We know how tempting it can be to set a target weight or vow to start a strict new diet – but the number on your scale will never be the determiner of your physical health. As we bid farewell to 2019, we’re also saying goodbye to unhealthy strategies for rapid weight loss.
Instead, our goal is to focus on effortlessly healthy food choices and habitual, enjoyable exercise. Physical wellbeing is a marathon, not a sprint. Restrictive diets and extreme exercise aren’t just impossible to maintain, they can also be harmful for your body. Next year, we’re going to take better care of our bodies than ever before.
In 2020, we’re getting in a good headspace.
Improving your mental wellbeing is easier said than done. It takes hard work and conscious effort, but the results are absolutely worth it. With an improved mental state comes increased happiness, better physical health and stronger relationships. In 2020, you deserve it all.
Mental wellness can be improved in several small ways we don’t often consider. Something as simple as turning off social media notifications for a while or quieting your inner critic can make a huge difference. Next year, we’ll put our ef forts into limiting negative influences and focusing on positive thoughts, feelings and relationships instead.
In 2020, we’re strengthening our relationships.
Healthy relationships with people who build you up is one of the biggest joys in life; toxic relationships, on the other hand, can drag you down like quicksand. When it comes to people we love, it can sometimes be hard to tell the difference between good and bad relationships.
The people in our lives can have a huge impact on our emotional wellness. Building and engaging with a community doesn’t just improve your happiness – it also works wonders for your motivation and fulfillment. Next year, we’re learning to listen effectively and trust more, but we’re also learning to let go of the relationships that don’t serve us.
We’re so excited for the new year and this new journey. Can you see our 2020 Vision as clearly as we do? If so, join in and work with us to make your new year your best one yet – http://bit.ly/2L19BTT
