Adventure Boot Camp has been running successful camps in South Africa since September 2005 and we are continuously searching for new areas to expand into. If you are a qualified trainer with at least a year’s experience in group training, you have the chance to bring this established business to your area.
Our franchise model (only available outside of Cape Town) is structured in a way that the start up costs are minimal and the work is shared between you and our head office. With constant support – a dedicated team of marketing and administrative staff, a nutrition team, a world-class website and a proven successful business model – your only challenge is to host a fun and motivating class!
One-on-one training is time consuming and you can only make as much money as there are hours in a day. Adventure Boot Camp offers you a platform to take advantage of your fitness expertise in an exciting format that is less time consuming than personal training, but more financially rewarding.
If you are interested, view our available franchises and the FAQ’s and then send us an enquiry and we will get back to you with further information on how the programme works. Should you be accepted, we will arrange for you to attend our one week franchise training course in Cape Town, where we train you on all aspects of the business.
Not ready to commit to a franchise? Our National Trainer programme could be for you! We also pay a R2000 referral fee should you put us in touch with a qualified trainer who then purchases one of our new franchises.

HOW IT WORKS?
Adventure Boot Camp offers a platform to take advantage of your fitness expertise in an exciting format that is less time consuming than personal training but far more rewarding.
All applicants should have a Personal Trainer or Group Trainer Certification coupled with a minimum of one year’s experience in the fitness industry.
Unfortunately not. ABC is essentially a fitness programme for the public, just like a gym, and as such all trainers must be qualified.
There are a few institutions in South Africa where you may get qualified as a trainer: ETA, HFPA and Fitpro are the three best known ones. There is also IIFT, ICK and Trifocus Fitness Academy and FIT Principles. Please note that doing your training and getting your experience may take quite a while. We do not hold areas for franchisees who are not ready as we sell franchises on a first come, first serve basis. Therefore, if you decide to study, don’t just do it with ABC in mind but do it because it’s your passion and it is what you want to do regardless.
Our start-up costs are minimal compared to other franchise systems
Your income is directly influenced by the number of clients at your camp. With Adventure Boot Camp’s visible marketing campaigns and growing popularity, you are ensured of a continuous stream of clients. Also, as a franchisee your success is our success and we therefore invest time and effort into each and every franchise.
Franchisees are responsible for securing their location but ABC will guide you along the selection process and personally go with you to approach potential locations.
Yes! Campers may only be ladies but trainers may be women or men.
