It’s beginning to look a lot like SWITCH WEEK!

Hello Switch Week, our old friend! We do love you, especially those that have been Adventure Boot Camping for 8 weeks straight and now have a much-needed (and well-deserved) week off!

First things first – have you signed up for our next camp, beginning Monday 16 July? SIGN UP NOW and get that out the way, so you can get on with having a spectacular week – safe in the knowledge that you’ll be front and centre next week, ready to smash out some goals!

Can I also just say that if you haven’t been to camp for a while, PLEASE don’t let that stop you from coming back. Life happens – we all understand that more than you know. In an ideal world, we would all show up for camp 5 days a week. It’s not always possible.


So DO THE NEXT RIGHT THING – don’t leave it for another month because you feel weird about having missed a few camps, are embarrassed because you have lost some of your fitness (or gained a few kgs), or think you’ll wait another month until life gets less busy/ cold/ challenging. Just show up for yourself right now – NOW is the perfect time. We would be DELIGHTED to have you back. Please do SIGN UP!

And now for a few ways to make this week off absolutely AMAZING (number 4 is my favourite!)


  1. DETOX EVERYTHING – firmly resolve to flush out any negativity that comes anywhere near you this week – unhealthy food, toxic relationships and negative thoughts! We love this article with SIX WAYS to do a body detox – well worth the read.


  1. GET OUTDOORS – get your daily fresh air fix and Vitamin D boost (yes, even in winter). Whether going for a walk or sitting in the sun while you eat lunch or enjoy a steaming hot cup of coffee, don’t give in to the temptation to stay huddled indoors. Out you go!


  1. STREEEEEEETCH – don’t let those muscles get stiff and sore this week. Practice those warm down stretches throughout the week to keep your muscles fluid – you’ll be grateful when camp starts. Plus, they can be done in front of the TV


  1. FOCUS ON HEALTHY EATING – there’s nothing more appetising than a well-stocked fridge that always has something yummy to eat. Be proactive and make mouth-watering healthy meals you can’t wait to eat. This article is a great place to start – check it out!

  1. Thanks for keeping me motivated……..I will join up for the next boot camp as I am going on a short holiday from the 17th to 31st of August 2018. Hopefully then the weather would also have improved to assist the early morning rise.
