Do What Works – It’s That Simple!

You might remember my challenge from a few weeks ago – ask yourself this one question: “What would the best version of myself choose to do right now?

 

As you will have discovered, it immediately takes you out of the emotion and excuses, and straight into solution mode. It’s a clever little hack that has made a world of difference in my life.

You guessed it, it’s time for a new challenge! And here it is: DO WHAT WORKS.

Could it be ANY simpler?

Do what works.

Eat what works for your body and gives you energy.

Stay hydrated.

Get the right amount of sleep for you.

Prioritise relationships that feed your soul and add value to your life.

 

Do the workouts that challenge you AND make you feel good.

Because if you think about it, there is no point doing workouts that result in injuries or eating foods that deplete you of energy.

Do what works!

If you love running, cycling, yoga sessions or a game of social tennis – DO THEM. The more varied your workouts, the better! Simply adjust your Adventure Boot Camp sessions accordingly to create an exericse program that works for you and your body.

 

We have MANY people who choose 12 sessions a month (3 sessions a week) to accommodate other classes or sports’ commitments.

 

We also have a campers that attend 4 sessions a month (once a week) because they are pushed for time and can commit to just that one hour a week.

Do what works! It works for them – they refuse to buy into an all-or-nothing trap and instead sign up for fewer sessions in order to keep their attendance (and fitness) up!

So that’s my challenge for the entire month of September – do what works for YOU.

 

Start paying attention to what is NOT working and try to eliminate those habits, foods and activities from your life.

Also start paying attention to what DOES work. You might find that having your lunch while sitting in the sun for ten minutes is far more energising and enjoyable that lunch at your desk. You might switch your Boot Camp sessions to before work in order to free up time later. Or schedule them for after work to destress before you get home.

It’s all about DESIGNING YOUR LIFE IN A WAY THAT WORKS FOR YOU.

Hand-crafting your days, activities and habits so that they continually add value to your life.

Refusing to settle for anything less than the best – foods, workouts, relationships and activities – because you DESERVE IT.

Start doing what WORKS – beginning with signing up and showing up for ALL your Boot Camp sessions this month. Whether you choose to attend 4, 12 or 20 sessions a month, you will be adding enormous value to your health, fitness and mental health.
