Angelique is absolutely excellent. She motives us every step of the way, but still keep in mind the physical limitations that some of us have. You never feel left out or failure if you can not do a certain exercise, you are simply given an alternative exercise and even praised if you get that right.

I think that our camp location is by far the best location. We are surrounded by such beauty and splendour. We train on the field which is just dwarfed by the magnificent mountain range. The sunsets are fantastic and so picturesque. Such a pleasure to train in the open air. Our trainer makes full use of all the different facilities on offer.

Barbara is an inspiration to all the ladies at camp - I appreciate her help and effort with all our workouts, she makes it fun and interesting, something new every time (still intense and freeking sore the next day- although we all know she's lying when she says "it is going to be a chilled workout today" lol ) - but still every squat and lunge is totally worth it :) We all LOVE Barbara - she's a beautiful lady :)

Credit must really be paid where it is due; Adriaan is a fantastic trainer! In fact I would go as far as to say; best I have had at the Garden's sessions I have signed up for. His knowledge not only of fitness, but also of dietary related questions we ask are always thoughtfully answered. He pushes us all harder than we think we can go, which I appreciate an always offers alternatives for making any exercise more difficult if I am feeling strong that day. At the same time, he is sensitive on the days when one is feeling a bit sick/ weaker. He always tries to message us and keep us up to date on the whatsapp group. Also very encouraging. Thanks Adriaan!

I love training with Janine. I also love the fact that there are other girls and we motivate one another. I find it far more motivating to train with other people and with a trainer. It means I don't have to worry about the intensity and whether I'm doing the right exercises, if I was training on my own. Our trainer is the best, she looks the part as well for the fitness ambassador. She knows exactly how to motivate us and to make the new campers adjust. I really thinks she is the best in her work. The workouts are really doing good for us and are well prepared on each day. The assistant is a job and a half I really liked her a lot as well. She made us sweat and gave us a purpose to be at the camp. They are the best.

Angelique has made me realise my potential and what I am capable of. I have never pushed as hard as I did at any other camp than the last because she believed I was capable of so much more than what I was contributing at camp. Angelique is the most disciplined and motivated trainer. Without Angelique I would not have attended every single day of camp. Her motivation and consistency enabled me to ensure I was there every day! She is always willing to offer support and assists where you have short comings. She is awesome!!

Our trainer is so fantastic. She encourages me to do better everyday. I have an injury on my shoulder and she takes that into consideration and let me do other excecises similar to the ones the other people are doing. She is supportive, when I feel as if I am failing, she also tells me to push and I will get there. She is also friendly and we laugh a lot during our training. I will never leave the camp as long as she is still around. By the way, I had left last year because of my own injury and now I am back with a bang :).

Chirene is a firm but fair coach who has the ability to make you feel you can push a little harder. She is well informed on many levels that relate to becoming and staying healthy. What is really such a nice surprise is that Jo actually trains and prepares me for the 5km and the 10km races that I love to do on weekends, without her knowing it! Jason keeps the pace going constantly. His instructions are loud and clear, so you don't have to ask him to repeat anything. He is upbeat, enthusiastic and very friendly. He learns people's names very quickly. He interacts very well with every individual but without turning the conversation into a giggling tea party. He is mindful of people's injuries and ensures that they receive a different exercise if need be. He wastes not one minute of the hour; we start very sharply at 6am and finish sharply at 7am. Because we are in Kirstenbosch Gardens, he makes a point of ensuring that a lot of our work-out takes place in the higher lying areas where the views are to die for. Jason ensures that we get the very best out of our boot camp experience.

My first bootcamp was August last year and I have now completed 10 camps. My main reason for signing up was to get stronger in order to improve my running. My time on the half marathon has since come down with 10 min!! I also recently ran a sub 50 min 10km race... I am really chuffed with what bootcamp has done for me :)

Miena is 'n ongelooflike trainer. Vir die eerste keer wat ek Bootcamp doen in my lewe, is sy die beste. Ek is baie bly dat ek haar as n trainer kan he. Ek oefen al baie jare in die Gym a.g.v. 'n rug problem. Ek het op ouderdom 30 uitgevind dat ek met 'n ekstra lumbale werwel gebore is.Ek hou van oefening, maar het vir so 2 jaar aan en af gaan gym. omdat ek bo 40 is, sukkel ek om van die 'rolletjie' bokant my Jeans ontslae te raak. Ek het fotos geneem voor ek begin het en ek kan reeds 'n verskil in die 1ste 20 dae( 1ste Bootcamp ) sien. Ek word gou "bored" met iets, maar Miena het elke dag, 5 dae 'n week nuwe idees van oefen. Sy maak gebruik van verskeie aparaat. Van die bankies by die terrain, trappe , rekke en balle, toue. I have enjoyed the variety of exercises and the games we played. We also went to different locations on the school grounds to spice things up a bit. My running improved so much during these 4 weeks. It took 15 mins off my 10km. Absolutely amazing. Loved it!

I am 60 now, and since joining ABC in January 2012, have near perfect cholesterol (lipogram) levels, normal blood sugar and blood pressure. I do not feel tired anymore, can easily rise after kneeling (could not do that before), my skin is clear and I feel wonderful! All thanks to ABC.
