What is Adventure Boot Camp all about?

Adventure Boot Camp is a four week outdoor fitness programme for women. As a camper, you will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Certified Adventure Boot Camp Fitness Trainers. You will be motivated to push to your personal best, but not more than you are capable of. Each day, camp will be one hour in length either in the morning or evening, depending on which camp you choose to do.

What exercises will we do?

Exercises include core conditioning, short distance running, muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, fitness kick boxing, Pilates, sports drills, obstacle courses, mat work, surprises and more! Exercises target specific areas that women need to work on. We make use of the natural environment and every day is different!

What if I'm not very fit?

NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

How often do we meet?

Campers meet Monday through Friday for one hour each day during the four-week programme. All campers will be expected to arrive on time!

What do I need to bring?

An exercise mat, small hand weights (1.5kg - 3kg), a water bottle, running shoes, and a sense of adventure!

What can I achieve from camp?

Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence making a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The camp programme includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you'll lose centimetres and gain strength while looking and feeling better. Also, you'll meet great people who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body.

You will experience a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being while enjoying the outdoors in a motivating team environment. In addition, you will meet great people who share your same passion for acquiring a more healthy body and mind.

What is the cost (investment in myself)?

Each four-week boot camp offers you twenty hours of personal instruction. Personal trainers can typically charge R160 to R250 per hour for their services but with ABC you can receive premier, cutting edge fitness instruction by certified trainers for just a fraction of the cost.

Other options: Even though greater results occur when you enrol in the full 5 day per week programme, you may also choose to come 3 days per week for a discounted fee.
