Here are a few of the more common questions we get with regards to starting an ABC Franchise.
Why an ABC Franchise?
Adventure Boot Camp offers a platform to take advantage of your fitness expertise in an exciting format that is less time consuming than personal training but far more rewarding.
Do I need a qualification?
All applicants should have a Personal Trainer or Group Trainer Certification coupled with a minimum of one year's experience in the fitness industry.
I have been exercising all my life. Can I not be an ABC instructor even if I don't have my qualifications?
Unfortunately not. ABC is essentially a fitness programme for the public, just like a gym, and as such all trainers must be qualified.
How can I get qualified?
There are a few institutions in South Africa where you may get qualified as a trainer: ETA, HFPA and Fitpro are the three best known ones. Please note that doing your training and getting your experience may take quite a while. We do not hold areas for franchisees who are not ready as we sell franchises on a first come, first serve basis. Therefore, if you decide to study, don't just do it with ABC in mind but do it because it's your passion and it is what you want to do regardless.
Is it expensive to start?
Our start-up costs are minimal compared to other franchise systems.
How big is the earning potential?
Your income is directly influenced by the number of clients at your camp. With Adventure Boot Camp's visible marketing campaigns and growing popularity, you are ensured of a continuous stream of clients. Also, as a franchisee your success is our success and we therefore invest time and effort into each and every franchise.
Do you provide the location?
Franchisees are responsible for securing their location but ABC will guide you along the selection process and personally go with you to approach potential locations.
ABC is only for women but can male trainers be franchisees?
Yes! Campers may only be ladies but trainers may be women or men.
